Rotate text laid out in a grid to test whether a different orientation changes the visible structure of a cipher.
This was the method used to crack K3. You can test it yourself by following these instructions:
- Click on Use K3 ciphertext
- Click on Set as Base
- Set the Row length to 24
- Set the Rotation Direction to Clockwise
- Click on Rotate
- Set the Row length to 8
- Click on Rotate
The decoded text will be visible in the grid below and is available to copy as plaintext at the bottom of the page.
This feature needs more room to function properly.
Please try using this feature on a larger screen or device for the best experience.
Set this, then press Rotate. Change it again before the next rotation as needed.
